Location: Willis Tucker Park
Time: 10am-1pm
Rough Schedule
-> Drop off
-> Forest Exploration
-> Snack Time
-> Themed Projects
-> Pick Up
Why outdoors?
Nature play builds confidence; promotes creativity and imagination; teaches responsibility; provides stimulation; gets kids moving; makes them think harder; reduces stress and fatigue; and can benefit grades. (Learn More)
Why mixed age classes?
Having multiple ages together allows for advanced interpersonal dynamics and a more cohesive community. The younger ones get the modeling and support of older children who get to practice leadership skills, patience and delegating power.
What will my child be doing/learning?
PNWK provides an all year, all outdoor educational experience, mentoring children to develop their connection to nature. Your child will learn to identify local flora and fauna; basic navigation skills; strength & resilience; social & emotional skills; and participate in high sensory activities. They will participate in themed art, science, engineering projects, and so much more!
